Remember that jogging scene in 2001? spaceRun, the space150 running club, is nothing like that.
It’s more fun and less mind-bendy.
The distance is 5k (est.), the time is once a week (TBA), and the runners (BYOB) are going to end up as cyborgs: after three completed runs, they get a free Nike+ kit. This is necessary not only for tracking times and routes, but also for inspiring and recording ridiculous runners’-high trash talk. (Shin splints? Your momma’s so fat she’s got chin splints!)
So far spaceRun has raced three times, each won by Todd Lintner, our eagle-eyed, gazelle-legged proofreader. For bowling the turkey, he won a surprise iPod Nano, all the better to complete his Nike+ system. It plays that Vangelis song on repeat. You know the one.

is that a space run or space runs… eeeew
He always could run, that swift and stealthy Todd.
Chad Gillard is waiting patiently for his chance to whip that Todd….just wait. Victory will be his.
